B.Tech Entrance Exam vs Direct B.Tech Admission - Which is Better?
When it comes to choosing between B.Tech entrance exam and direct admission, it completely depends on the requirement of the candidate. If you are not sure of securing admission in top B,Tech college and branch with your entrance exam rank or score, it is advisable to go for direct admission.
However, direct admission in B.Tech is possible only in private colleges or deemed universities. You can’t get direct admission in government engineering colleges as the admissions in these colleges are based on the rules and regulations fixed by the state government. One has to appear for entrance exam/ participate in the counselling process to get admission in government engineering college. The seats are allocated on the basis of merit, i.e., the performance of candidates in the entrance exam or class 12th marks.
